Our 2026 Annual Spring Festival Sponsors
Message from Fr. Ivan M. Rodriguez
I would like to begin by joyfully recognizing and extending my deepest appreciation to our Car Grand Sponsor, Grand Sponsors, and our Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Sponsors. Your extraordinary generosity and enthusiastic support were the driving force behind the success of our 52nd annual fundraiser. This celebration would not have been possible without you. Your partnership not only elevates this event but also powerfully advances our mission, and for that, we are truly grateful.
I would also like to extend a special thank you and my heartfelt appreciation to all the volunteers whose time, energy, and dedication were instrumental in the success of our fundraiser. As Mother Teresa so beautifully reminds us, true fulfillment is found in serving others, and your commitment exemplified this spirit of service. We are deeply grateful for the many hours you generously devoted to ensuring the event’s smooth and successful execution. Thank you for your unwavering support, compassion, and hard work.
On behalf of myself, Fr. Jakub, the Church and School staff, and the Festival Committee, we are profoundly grateful to everyone for your belief in our mission and your ongoing commitment. Your contributions make it possible for us to continue our work and make a lasting impact.
We are truly honored by the support of both sponsors and volunteers. May God continue to bless you, your businesses, and your families.
THANK YOU TO ALL SPONSORS!
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” — Mother Teresa

Prayer Candles
"I am the light of the world.
Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness
but will have the light of life."
John 8:12LET HIS LIGHT SHINE!!
In the Catholic church, light has always had a special significance because it represents Christ. We know that Jesus called himself the Light of the world. Additionally, St. John’s Gospel connects Christ with the imagery of light in John 1:4: "In him was life; and the life was the light of men."
Lighting a candle for someone living or deceased is a way to both extend your prayers and show solidarity with the person the prayer is being made on behalf of. We also believe in the importance of our prayers for those who have died, asking the Lord to forgive any sins they may have committed due to human frailty, but it is also a great way to keep their memory alive as we honor who they were and the good they did. The faithful also light candles as a sign of gratitude to God for answered prayers.
Here, at Our Lady of the Lakes, we want to offer you this opportunity to pray for all your intentions with the Prayer Candles placed in our lobby.
These candles can be lit for:
- The health of someone
- In memory of someone who has passed away
- In thanksgiving for a grace or favor granted to you
- The intentions of someone dear to you (living)
To request your Prayer Candle, please fill the online form.
For more information, please contact the office at: (305) 558-2202.
