Bible Study

Bible Study Ministry (English) seeks to bring the living Word of God to participants to deepen their Faith and relationship with our Lord by increasing their love and knowledge of Sacred Scripture.

Come and See Catholic Bible Study's Gospel of John begins Sept. 4, 2024 and runs through May 2025. Meets at 9:30 - 11:00 AM on the Parish Center on Wednesdays. Study book available through St. Paul Center's website.

Boy Scouts

Troop 566's Scouting program has been active for over 25 years at OLL. Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives.

Most importantly it gets our kids outside, camping and having fun in nature, with like-minded Scouts and families creating memories that last a lifetime. Our Troop is open for male and female students, grades 6 to 12, ages 11 to 17.

In today's world of social media it is vital give your child the benefits of interacting with others, live and without phones. Join Us for adventure.

Couples for Christ: Family Life Renewal Ministry

Building the Church of the Home and the Church of the Poor

We are the Couples for Christ. We are committed to live in God's righteousness and holiness, evangelizing people through a life of love and service.

We shall work for the renewal of families that will serve God and build generations of Christian leaders; and we shall pursue Total Christian Liberation through social justice, respect for life, and work with the poor.

Eucharist Adoration / Adoración Eucaristíca

Our Lady of the Lakes Parish has Eucharistic Adoration on the First Friday of each Month starting with the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 9am and closing with the Reposition at 9pm. During Eucharistic Adoration, the faithful pray to Jesus Christ, who is present in the Blessed Sacrament.

While it is true that you can pray to God anywhere and that He is always within you, it is especially powerful to adore Jesus in the Eucharist. In the presence of the Eucharist, we pray to the power and sacrifice that it represents — the body of Jesus, who gave His life so that we may live. We invite you to come and spend some time with the Lord.

Our mission is to serve the "home bound" parishioners due to age or underlying condition. You or your caregiver should call the parish rectory and arrange for the sacrament to be brought to you.

Why Catholic? / ¿Por que ser Católico?

Why Catholic? is a Ministry of Adult Evangelization. We learn together more about our Beautiful Faith. We use four books as guide to this Ministry:

1. Pray: Christian Prayer
2. Believe: Profession of Faith
3. Celebrate: Sacraments
4. Live: Christian Morality

We want to help you to put your faith in action and to understand what is our call as members of the body of the Catholic Church.

Women's Club

The OLL Women's Club is dedicated to promoting spirituality, friendliness, understanding and general well-being within the Parish and surrounding communities. The Club's primary function is to hold fundraising events, and utilize these funds for assisting the needy, various local and national charities, and further assisting the needs of the Parish, school and religious education when called upon by the Parish Pastor.

General meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month (Sept. to June), and many fun activities are planned for member participation. All female members of the Parish are eligible to join for a $25 annual donation.
